Onsite Hard Drive Shredding

No matter what type of storage media you need to destroy, our mobile disk shredders are so powerful they can reduce all kinds of storage into pieces as small as 5mm. At your location, in plain sight, and in record time.

Asset Registering

All on-site information is captured via our hand-held scanners which will be stored securely in our bespoke asset tracking system and forms part of the final asset register provided to each customer. Our updated telemetry allows us to provide same-day asset reporting when requested. A certificate of destruction is also included with the asset register upon completion.

Data Destruction (Degaussing)

We use a Degaussing Machine that has been approved by Governments & meets the specified requirements of DOD Degausser Standard for the secure erasure and destruction of information and data stored on magnetic media. SFI’s mobile degausser destroys data on magnetic hard drives and data storage media. The degausser’s very powerful electromagnetic fields eradicate all data from magnetic data storage devices. This process renders the devices useless.

Hard Drive Shredding

Hard drive shredding is performed in our new, independently-powered quad shaft screened shredders in trucks at your business’ premises. Our shredders will shred server hard drives, frames and all, eliminating the time required to remove frames. Our high-capacity mobile hard drive shredding trucks allows us to service the entire country, including the major metro areas around the country.

Hard Drive Recycling: Hard Drive Shredding – Hard Drive Crushing

Hard drives that will not be reused are shredded and recycled. Depending on the needs of our customers, hard drive destruction can be performed on-site at a customer’s location or at one of our recycling facilities. And, if requested, this service can be combined with on-site or remote witnessed destruction.

Secure Physical Destruction of Hard Drives

Any data-bearing media that our customers do not want to reuse or resell is physically destroyed. SFI uses state-of-the-art, high-capacity shredders to destroy all data-bearing media. As part of the shredding process, the different metals and metal-bearing components are destroyed and separated making it impossible to reconstruct the media or data.

Witnessed Destruction

Some situations require that customers physically witness the destruction of their electronic media. SFI Recycling Solutions can accommodate this requirement for witnessed destruction by hosting the customer at the recycling facility performing the physical destruction or by providing a webcam link to witness the destruction over the Internet.

Hard Drives Degausssing: Hard Drives Degaussing

While technically not a form of hard drive destruction, another option for eliminating the risk of data falling into the wrong hands is to securely wipe out data on the drive by degaussing the hard drives prior to disposal. Our Hard drive degausser use a powerful electromechanical “pulse” to erase data from hard drives.
